Mr. Aaron Dieckerhoff has been proud to be a part of St. Monica-St. Michael School since 2017. His love and respect for the education field started when he saw how much his Mom loved her job as an elementary school teacher and how much she cared about her students. When he was accepted to Salve Regina University in 2002, he knew immediately that he wanted to major in education. Mr. Dieckerhoff graduated with a degree in U.S. History and Secondary education. Since then, he has taught every grade level all the way from high school on down in MA, CT, and RI. Mr. Dieckerhoff loves the experience and gratification of watching a student learn and grow and become a valued member of their school and community. While in college, he played 4 years of Division III lacrosse and coached at multiple levels after graduating. Coaching, like teaching, allows him to give back to the community around him and spread the word about a sport that helped him stay focused and learn valuable team-building skills. For three years prior to starting at St. Monica- St. Michael School, he worked at The Edge: Kids and Fitness in South Burlington, a 4-STAR licensed center, where he was first hired as the Director of School Age Programs. Now, Mr. Dieckerhoff is our 5th-grade class teacher. adieckerhoff@stmonica-stmichael.org.
