Join us on Thursday, April 9th for our annual Father Pat Easter Egg Hunt—a tradition that students look forward to and enjoy each year! This fun-filled event will be organized by the PTO with the help of our 8th grade boys. The egg hunt will take place outside if weather permits, or will be moved to the gym if needed. We look forward to another joyful celebration for our students! 🌷🐰

Today, March 27th, we celebrated our students’ academic achievements during our Honor Roll Program in the morning. This special recognition honors students who have worked hard and demonstrated dedication to their studies. We are proud of their accomplishments, effort, perseverance, and success as a school community.

Spring photos will be taken on April 10th! This is a great opportunity to capture updated student portraits. More information, including ordering details, will be sent home soon. 😊

A group of parents, known as the Friends of SMSM, has organized an upcoming Bingo Fundraiser to support our amazing teachers and staff. Proceeds from this event will be divided equally among all staff members as a special gift in appreciation of their dedication and hard work. St. Monica-St. Michael School is an Act 166 Prequalified Preschool Provider. What does this mean?

Act 166 is Vermont’s universal prekindergarten law, providing 10 hours per week of publicly funded, high-quality preK for 35 weeks annually for 3- to 5-year-old children. What defines Vermont Universal Prekindergarten Education is the implementation of high-quality, effective instruction by licensed educators who use evidence-based practices within intentionally designed early learning environments. Early educators align curriculum with the Vermont Early Learning Standards while adapting experiences to support the full participation of each and every child to realize their full potential and promote successful outcomes. If your child is going to attend a prequalified program in the community, you will need to enroll both with the community provider and with your school district. This will ensure tuition funding for your child’s 10 hours is sent to St. Monica-St. Michael School. Tuition funding for the 2026/2027 school year is $4,106.

Our school is excited to participate in the Hannaford Helps Schools program! This fundraiser allows our community to earn money for our school by shopping at Hannaford. When you purchase participating products, you can collect “School Dollars” and donate them to our school at checkout or through the Hannaford Helps Schools app.

These funds help support important programs, classroom needs, and student activities. Every dollar makes a difference!
